About Me

I'm a thirtysomething gal who's abandoned a lucrative career, fat cat, and cramped Brooklyn pad to brave the wilds of Berlin, all by my lonesome. As the American-born daughter of a Bavarian mother, I grapple in this land with both the foreign and the familiar. Inside and out.

My Goals: 1. Get so good at German I can fool every native. 2. Use my free time to write a (funny) memoir about pre-Berlin health problems.

Goal 1 requires full immersion with zero English usage/interaction. Goal 2 requires daily implementation of English brainwaves and literary skills.
